COVINGTON, KY - Hagler and Associates employee, Christopher Reynolds, volunteered Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Mary Rose Missions. Mary Rose Missions opened in 2013 in Florence, Kentucky as a non-profit organization and as the first soup kitchen in Boone County. Mary Rose Missions prepares and serves free meals every day to those who are hungry and without. The non-profit is successful due to their gracious donors and humble volunteers. Chris volunteered to help set-up, serve, and clean. “It was truly a great experience,” said Chris, “being able to meet and talk with people who are less fortunate really makes you appreciate everything around you each day.”
Chris chose to volunteer at Mary Rose Missions because he has a strong passion for helping make a positive difference in areas close to him that need a little help. “If our company has the power to improve the lives of people in our community then we must act. If people are hungry in the community then, we must feed them. Mary Rose Mission does just that. What I learned early in the business is we can only keep what we have by giving it away,” Said owner, William Pinkett.
